FROM THE CLINIC
Why Your Brain Needs The Yolk
If your morning routine involves cracking a few eggs into a skillet, you might be doing a lot more than just hitting your daily protein goal.
It turns out, the humble egg is proving to be one of the best defenses we have against cognitive decline.
According to a massive new 2026 study published in The Journal of Nutrition, eating eggs regularly could dramatically slash your risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.
Large-scale study with large implications.
Let’s dive right into the data:
Size: Researchers tracked nearly 40,000 older adults for an average of 15.3 years.
Data: Participants who ate at least one egg per day (for five or more days a week) had up to a 27% lower risk of an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
Casual Benefit: You don't have to eat them every day. Consuming eggs just two to four times a week was still linked to a 20% drop in risk.
We saw hints of this in a landmark 2024 study from the Rush Memory and Aging Project.
Tracking over 1,000 older adults, researchers found that eating more than one egg a week was associated with an incredible 47% reduction in Alzheimer's dementia risk.
So what’s the science behind it?
It comes down to a few highly concentrated nutrients that act as premium fuel for your nervous system.
Choline (The Communicator): Eggs are one of the richest dietary sources of choline. Your brain uses choline to produce acetylcholine, a critical neurotransmitter responsible for memory, learning, and allowing your brain cells to talk to each other.
Lutein and Zeaxanthin (The Protectors): These are carotenoids (powerful antioxidants) found in the yolk. They literally build up inside your brain tissue over time, where they help lower oxidative stress and protect your neurons from cellular damage.
Phospholipids (The Architects): The fat in egg yolks isn't just standard fat. Nearly 30% of it is made up of phospholipids, which are the structural building blocks your brain uses to maintain the physical integrity of its cells and neuro-receptors.
That friend of yours that demonizes eggs for their cholestoral content…
Well they can go take a hike!

The Proactive Longevity Protocol For Your Best Friend
Let's face it: time moves way too fast for our furry best friends. 🐶🐱
Because dogs and cats age in fast-forward, playing the "wait and see" game with their health is a risky move. Just six months of hidden changes in their bodies equals years of human aging! If you wait until they're actually acting sick to make changes, you’re already playing catch-up.
You probably already know that early screening is the secret sauce to your own health and longevity. Helping Pets Live Longer lets you take that exact same proactive playbook and use it for your pet.
Stop those sneaky, silent health issues in their tracks before they turn into scary vet visits!

IN THE NEWS
Fatty15 Catches The Gummy Fever
If you're tired of swallowing handfuls of giant capsules every morning, the longevity gods have finally smiled upon us, as Fatty15 just released their core C15:0 supplement in a sugar-free gummy.
C15:0 (pentadecanoic acid) is an odd-chain saturated fatty acid—and the first essential fatty acid discovered in 90 years. Interestingly, it was originally found during research on aging dolphins, and here’s what it can do for you:
Cellular Defense: It fortifies your cell membranes against age-related wear and tear.
Metabolic Support: It targets longevity pathways (like AMPK) to help cells repair themselves and produce energy efficiently.
These gummies use prebiotic fiber instead of sugar, meaning they actively feed your gut microbiome while delivering a crisp apple-mint flavor. With users reporting better sleep and energy within 16 weeks, it’s a rare cellular health biohack that actually tastes like candy.

If somebody were to tell you that sitting at a desk all day was bad for your health, you’d probably say no s*it sherlock.
But how bad is it?
Bad enough where you might want to stand up while you dive into this.
