RFK Jr. Unleashes The Peptide Floodgates

Health and Human Services Secretary RFK Jr. recently hit the Joe Rogan podcast to drop a massive bombshell: the FDA is planning a full 180 on their controversial peptide restrictions.
Specifically, they’re preparing to lift the Biden-era limits on roughly 14 different peptides that were effectively banned from production by compounding pharmacies.
The rationale here is big for health freedom advocates.
Kennedy argued that the previous administration banned these powerful amino acid chains primarily for a "lack of proven benefit" rather than concrete evidence of harm, which ultimately just pushed users into a sketchy, unregulated black market. By unraveling the ban, the goal is to shift access back to ethical, high-quality compounding pharmacies.
While the official list of the 14 reinstated peptides hasn't dropped yet (a formal decision is expected in weeks), we expect the floodgates to open from every telehealth company eager to shove a Facebook ad in your face.

When Popular Anti-Aging Compounds Go Rogue

Are polyamines longevity darlings or tumor fuel?
Thats what has researchers scratching their heads after latet research from Tokyo university of Science.
Polyamines like spermidine are massive in the biohacking world right now, praised as "geroprotectors" that trigger autophagy (aka internal cell cleanup) by activating a protein called eIF5A1.
It turns out polyamines lead a double life.
While they promote healthy mitochondrial cleanup via eIF5A1 in normal tissues, they can also hit a genetic switch to produce eIF5A2. This nearly identical twin protein does the exact opposite: it ramps up glycolysis and aggressively drives cancer cell proliferation.
Another reason to be cautious about overstacking your body with supplements, as flooding the body might be playing with a double-edged sword.

The Ice Cream For Longevity Pros

You thought the ice cream aisle was safe from biohackers?
You thought wrong!!
SNOOZ has officially created "sleep-friendly" ice cream. Yes, your pint of Salted Caramel is now moonlighting as a longevity protocol.
Instead of a standard, guilt-inducing sugar coma, they are packing their tubs with a supplement stack: Magnesium, L-Theanine, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, and extra fiber to keep blood sugar stabilized.
It feels a little absurd to eat a bowl of vanilla ice cream in the name of optimizing alpha brain waves and regulating our stress responses, but if you're going to cave to the cravings, you might as well get some magnesium out of it.

Feel free to blast that Rolling Stones album…it’s good for the brain!
We’ve covered the brain benefits of music over the past year, but did you know regular music listening is linked to a nearly 40% lower risk of developing dementia?
Turn on the disco ball. 🪩
Sing in the shower.
Whatever you do…just keep the music playing.
